Back to teaching! OUUCCHHH!

Hi

SO SO SO sorry it has been so long, I've not felt good the last week or so.

Not poorly just struggling a bit with motivation (the op and time off training has really made me mad!!) I was going so well then BAM, as if the first op wasn't enough I had to go in again for longer.

Anyway there are people worse off than me so enough of my moaning!!

I did my first class back tonight which was a Bodybalance which I love, but a little to much stretch on some of the positions!! OOUUCCHHHH !! Great to be back teaching though.

I will update again later in the week.

ALL CLEAR FROM HOSPITAL!!

I can't believe it has been a week since I last posted!!

Anyway, had follow up appointment at hospital yesterday, the consultent explained properly what had gone wrong etc, checked me out and told me that all seems well!!! YEEE-HHAAAA.

Told me that gentle exericse (what's gentle exercise anyone know?) was ok to start with - i.e walking etc (I asked about running!!! he just stared at me!!) but I needed 3 whole weeks from 2nd op before I should introduce my teaching back in and strenuous weights should be a little bit longer!! AARRRGGHHHH.

SO, got out my pen and paper and started a plan, I love plans. I have mapped out the rest of my 12 week Challenge and will commence with some walking and body conditioning type stuff until my official 3 weeks is here (only 1 to go).

Then i will give it all I can physically manage right to the last day, I WILL have photos done (and a spray tan, hair and make up - no way I'm missing out!!).

Hope you are all well and look forward to your comments. . . . . .

Little by Little

Hi All

Just a quick one to say that I am finally moving a little better and don't look like I'm 85 anymore!!

I went food shopping this morning with Hubby and enjoyed getting out!! although I was worn out after!! (how am I gonna get back to my classes?!!)

I slept well last night in the recliner chair and will do one more night there and then try lying flat in bed.

I am going to do my 6 week photos tonight, (just have to ignore the patched on my belly) as I felt I had made good progress up to when I went in for the first op and still want to check out any changes that may have occured.

Will let you know what I think tomorow.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

What a nightmere!!!

Hi to all that read.

This is a very quick one as I can't stand for long without feeling worn out and I can't sit as it hurts!!
After making what I thought was a good recovery from my op, I started to feel a little worse again! Early Friday morning after a night of no sleep I got up and was in extreme pain, so I rang my mum (who is a nurse) and whilst on the phone I felt a sharp popping sensation within!

Anyway on the advice of the surgical registrar that I called, my hubby took me to A&E. After bloodtests, x-ray's and scans they discovered that the popping was actually blood and I was bleeding internally from the base of my lung!!

So yes, you guessed it, back into surgery that night.

I am home now after a 4 day stay in hospital, very sore, fed up and hot and bothered as Perth's weather has started to pick up.

Would have loved to have been reporting on my training etc but unfortunately I think I'm a good couple of weeks off that again. Now my Bodyblitz quest is in real trouble!

So to those whose feedback is waiting for me in my inbox I hope to get to it tomorrow and I am looking forward to doing it all being well.

Hope you are all well, speak to you soon. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

12 rounds with Tyson anyone?

That is how my tummy felt when I returned home from Hospital on Saturday morning, like I'd been in the ring with Tyson!! It now just feels like I have been kicked hard a couple of times so an improvement at least!!! oouuchhhhhhh!

So, the op went well, I came home and have been resting. Today is the first day I have been up and about properly, I can move alot easier just need to avoid twisting, straining, picking my little girl up (try telling her that - 2 yrs old) and moving sharply.

And there was me thinking I may have been able to get out for a god brisk walk and a training session by now - Yeah Right!!

Should have had skin folds done on Monday but will do them when I am next at the gym, I have lost weight again this week - 0.7kg making a total loss of 4.1 kg for the first 4 weeks.

I can't wait to train again, perhaps early next week I will try a few bits with dumbells at home?
and a walk?

I hope you are all going well and I'll update again soon.
