Week 4 - Day 3 - Where's the time going!!

Well it's Wednesday again and I have been meaning to update since monday!!

Lost 0.5kg this week, making a total of 3.4kg over the three weeks. I am also noticing good improvements in tone and shape. Whoppee!!

I have been working hard since last week when I found out I was going in to have my gall bladder removed, I have to cover all my Group Fitness Classes, what a nightmere!! BUT Ive done it and I have three weeks off.

I have to go in on friday morning at 11.30am and need to try and get in two weights sessions in before then!! One tomorrow and one first thing friday, although I will have to go a little easy as it is nil by mouth from midnight Thursday!! perhaps I should leave the Friday morning one come to think of it especially if it's hot, I can't have water either!!

I normally have three classes tomorrow but as it's Australia Day I just have the one!! Phew, i did five today and feel a bit zonked!

Have been spot on with my food and am really enjoying the clean feeling. Although I am looking forward to a slice of my son's choccie birthday cake!! I haven't eaten fatty foods since my gall bladder was diagnosed, having it out will allow me too again!!! perhaps a little on my free meals!!

I am still focussed on the challenge and have started looking about for a photographer to do my after pics, I am so excited about the changes I can see already that I hope I can continue to make improvements right to the end.

Anyway bed is calling, eyelid's are drooping! May get one more post in before I go in, if not I'll let you know how I go over the weekend.

Imagine how absolutely invigorating it will be to look back with satisfaction on a difficult and challenging job well done

Week 3 - Day 5 - FED UP!!

OK so I'm only human. Had a slip up yesterday! really angry with myself, so have written down the emotions that triggered it and will draw on that when I need to.

The reason (not a valid one as I should have responded diferently !!) -

I have a gallstone, when diagnosed three years ago I choose to opt out of surgery and control it by a low fat diet, I have had no chocolate bars, cake, chips etc in that time. More recently the slightest thing can set it off so I went to the doc's who refered me to the hospital. Scans were done and my stone is still there along with the walls of the gallbladder being thickened and inflammed (this is not good long term and could become cancerous).

Surgery is my best option, so on the wait list I went. Dr told me 3 months, then I was told 10 months, then I recieve a call on Wednesday giving me 10 days notice!!

First emotion - Yes no more excruciating pain ever again, second emotion - late notice for covering all my classes, third emotion - what about the kids, fourth emotion - WHAT ABOUT MY CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going so well and now I have to take 3 weeks off exercise!!

This was so dissappionting for me that my brain went into - 'i've wasted all my time so far', 'i'll never make the gains I need with three weeks off' etc etc, then the hand went out and grabbed the party mix I had been craving!! hence the slip up.

BUT having e mailed Sue, she has reassured me that I will be Ok, my body could probably do with the rest and will respond well afterwards, also some advice to come on my nutrition while I am inactive. Also that she won a her monthly Bodyblitz with 4 weeks off injured!!

So I was straight back with a vengence today, spot on with my food, hammered legs, did my cardio........ and I feel good and very positive about the whole thing, it has made me more determind.

I Will fit all my training in before I go in on Friday, be spot on with my food and hope my recovery is good. I will go crazy doing nothing although I have lots to work to do starting the Pregnancy Programmes for Sue, I can't wait, I love this area.

Perhaps I can have my free meal (only get one a fortnight!!) on my sons birthday a week after, perhaps a bit of choc cake!!! a small bit!!

Anyway, must get to sleep, I have a class in the morning and need some energy, although the Durathon I have been taking for about a week and a half now are definatly working, a marked difference in my energy levels.

Hope you all have a great weekend......... I'll report back on Monday with my stats.

I'm still here!! WEEK 3 - DAY 2

Oh my goodness!! I can't believe it has been a week since I last posted!!!

So........ I feel like I am well and truly on the road now. Training has been consistent, eating has been planned and executed !!!
Had a few days were I was quivering towards some Allens Party Mix, but didn't give in!! I have a goal and I want it sooo bad I can't let the slightest thing take my focus!

My weight dropped by 0.2kg this week, add to the 2.7kg from Week 1 gives a total of 2.9kg for the first two weeks! not bad. Sue asked for my skin folds every two weeks, so I had those done again on Monday and they are all down!! WWWOOOO HOOOO.

I did my RPM training at the weekend, all weekend on a bike!! Need I say where I'm sore????

Anyway, I will update again sooner than a weeks time but have to get to bed as I have LOTS of classes tomorrow and I need my sleep!!

Week 2 - Day 2

I made it through the weekend without a total binge / blowout etc etc .....

I had a great week training and eating and as a result I lost 2.7kg!! Sue has adjusted my plan a little, I teach quite alot of Group Fitness Classes in a week and she doesn't want me eating into my lean mass that I am working hard to gain!!

My nan arrived from the UK yesterday for 4 weeks, it was great to see her. We went out to lunch today so I used my Free Meal!! I had a chicken wrap, gave my chips up (quite easy to do, not a lover of chips) and had a small serving of dessert. Fely EXTREMELY guilty afterwards, so have now bottled the gulit feeling to sample when I get a weak moment.

Posted my Bodyblitz entry form and photos yesterday!! Two words - GAME ON!!! I am challenging myself to achieve the best results I can!!

Here's to a great week ahead.....

It's the weekend! ARRRGGHHHHH!

So I have made it to Friday, a little tired and very hungry tonight (perhaps being up at 5am to go teach a Bodycombat at 6am has made my day longer, therefore shifted my food a liitle?) so now all I have to do is be ULTRA-FOCUSSED to get me through the weekend.

I have a big psychological battle with weekends, weekends USED to be when we would have a take away etc, this was when I was at my biggest. Even though I'm not there now something still trys to tell me 'it's OK, it's the weekend'.

I am so determind to not to let myself down, Yes, I have a free meal once a fortnight, but whats the use of using it this soon?

I have fuelled my body (premium unleaded!!) all week, I have trained when I'm supposed to, so why waste a week of hard work for 20 minutes tastebud pleasure?

I'll let you know how it goes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The Challenge Has Begun!!!

End of day three!! The last three days have flown by. I have fully embraced my 12 Week Transformation.

I have got myself a folder, inside is my training programme, my nutrition plan, the complete recipe document, Sue's success tip document and a couple of articles I have read in magazines.

I intend on adding to this and using it as my motivation tool when things get tough.

My back is sore from my training on Monday!! Although sore I love this feeling!!!
I am looking forward to my next weights session on Friday, I wish it was sooner but Sue has worked my programme around the Group Fitness Classes that I teach.

Feeling good so far, a little tired but I have been really busy today, so to bed early and all will be well.

I hope you are all going well, remember - CONSISTENCY & PATIENCE and you will succeed.

Happy New Year

Here's to 2006.

2005 went extremely fast and was a very busy year for my husband & I and the kids. We have all had to adjust to our new life 'Down Under' and we now feel like we are settled.
My husband has just started his Personal Training position at a local gym, Bryce, my eldest (9), has settled well into school here in Australia after a big move, Maddison (2) is loving the whole aussie lifestyle (the beach and wearing no shoes!!) and will know no different and I have a my family around me and two jobs that are just great.

I was so excited to recieve an e mail from Sue stating I had been successful in gaining the position with Ideal Bodies Online. Having been actively working with ideal Bodies Online for 6 weeks now I can honestly say that I love it, I can't wait to progress further.

My other job is teaching Group Fitness Classes, which I also love. I count myself lucky to have not one but two jobs that I throughly enjoy.

I am so looking forward to starting my 12 week Transformation and sharing it with you, please feel free to comment to any of my posts.

More soon...............................
